Daily success habits for productivity

Ok so do you ever have those days where you get to your office and you are straight up ON FIRE🔥🔥? Annnnnd do you have those days where you leave your office and can’t seem to figure out what you ACTUALLY did that day?

yeah, same.

There is something about procrastinating that is just so tempting, and sometimes it can seem like you’re busy af but you’re STILL procrastinating on that money making task, or big job that really needs to get finished.😐

so here’s my question to you….

When you sit down to schedule your day, what does it look like? What are you doing to make sure that you are successfully achieving the goals that you set for yourself each day? Any habits you’re hooked on to make sure you’re productive?

If not… you need to get in the habit of making your days feel successful, because there is no better high than crossing ALL the things off your to-do list. Am I right?

You know how the saying goes – “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail!”  It’s a lame saying… but it really is so true.  Follow these 👇 tips to get out of your daily  rut and create daily habits for productive success.

✅ schedule your day

One of the best ways to make sure that your day is successful is to schedule 📅 it out.  If you have a schedule to follow, you can accurately see how much you can (realistically) accomplish.  One of my absolute favourite things to do for my clients is to help them create a daily schedule.  I help creatives schedule their work, lunch, email time, down time, and even a time to schedule their next days and weeks!  You can get as detailed as you want when it comes to scheduling – but in my books…the more details, the better.

Then, when you create a schedule, stick to it. mmk?  It’s all fun and games to make a pretty to-do list.  You probably have a gorgeous planner open in front of you right now (same).  The shit hits the fan when you don’t cross anything off of it, though.  Which brings me to my next point…

✅ set realistic goals + tasks

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and your month-long project won’t get done in a night.  Be for real with yourself, girl!  Break down 📝 your big goals into smaller parts, and set yourself up for success by making your goals and timelines practical. Make a list of everything that needs to be completed for EACH goal, and how long you estimate it will take you (give yourself some buffer time too) then set deadlines for yourself based on each task involved.

✅ the golden goal rule: 3 goals per day

To keep your daily goals in a manageable range, go with the magic number three.  Now that you’ve created realistic goals, choose three of them to knock out each day.  If you’re able to accomplish more, great!  OR take the rest of the day off and get some sun on your skin – you office vampire you ⚰. These goals will look different day-to-day, of course, depending on your priorities.  That’s ok!  The main point is to establish a routine of completing three goals per day.  Once it becomes your norm, you’ll be excited to set, and cross off✔️✔️ those three goals each day!

✅ follow a morning + nightly routine

Routines are habits for success.  Having a morning 🌞 and night time 🌜 routine that you follow can help your day run more smoothly.  For example, set up a nightly routine that helps you close your day out on a good note, like taking a walk after you finish your day or even listening to your fave beyonce track.  Set your next day up for success by planning the goals and objectives you want to achieve tomorrow.

When you wake up the next morning, do the hardest thing first.  Getting the hardest thing on your to-do list done first thing in the morning will make the rest of your day seem like a breeze.  When these habit become second nature for you, you’re more likely to stick to your routine and be more productive.

Now, you have no more excuses to not have hella successful days.  But, if you still need more help, that’s what I’m here for. I’m offering free Systems Assessment Calls this week – so book yourself in and let me check out your shiz!
